Review of Lust for Life (1956) by Robyn M — 21 Aug 2012
"Nothing will ever truly be appreciated until death... that sums up Van Gough's life work! Lust for life is uncandid and beautifully adapted from: Irving stones best selling novel of the same title.".
Never would I have thought to cast Kirk Douglas as Van gough, not surprising his portryal is almost to close for comfort as he literally takes on Gough's habitual personality. The accuracy is phanominal with each scene set in the actual location of Holland and France.
