Review of Lust, Caution (2007) by Scott H — 23 Mar 2009
A small handful of minor complaints (pointless time line hopping, and end that could have been shorter, and a couple of odd seemingly useless points of emphasis (I don't get the lipstick thing,) but otherwise this is a damn fine film.
Ang Lee does a spectacular job at pacing out a very tight but comfortable and crushing romance. Without more space, I can't add too much more. Watch this and 'Zodiac' in the same day if you have the time.
