Review of Lucy (2014) by Ryan C — 29 Aug 2016
Writer/director Luc Besson delivers a very intriguing premise of a woman (Scarlett Johansson) who is forced into a bad "drug" deal who turns the tables on her captors and becomes a ruthless killer beyond any human capabilities. Unfortunately, "Lucy" eventually unwinds into a very problematic storyline that falls apart by the third act.
That being said, the action sequences are highly thrilling and Johansson is so much fun to watch as usual.
