More muted than a poker face. Bana is a corpse - I never want to see him in another film. Barrymore is typecast as the cutesy naive girlfriend while Duvall, Shannon and Sanz are reduced to one dimension apiece by Hanson's wallowing script, which believes its much less predictable and much more savvy than it actually is.
And can someone tell Downey Jr. his recurring quirk-schtick is neither funny nor endearing? I hope someone makes a good poker movie someday. I truly do.
