Review of Lucas (2012) by Heart C — 20 Feb 2011
Here I was, a 80's movie nut, and I had never even heard of this one. In fact, I only watched it because I knew someone who claimed to be in a background shot. This movie was nothing more then the stereotypical 80's flick; for that, I loved it.
It doesn't try to be something it's not. They didn't take the movie in the direction I thought, which made it feel fresh and kept my attention. Corey Haim is adorable, Kerri Green is beautiful, and a young Charlie Sheen with his shirt off is reason enough to watch this movie.
Even appearances by young Winona Ryder and Jeremy Piven make this film worth a glance. A must see for any 80's fan with a little extra time on their hands.
