Review of Loving Vincent (2017) by Rollo T — 02 Jan 2018
Beautiful and creative movie that is a feast for your eyes. Memorizing to watch and an interesting story too. This movie deserves a wider audience and more marketing here in the states espcieally considering the undertaking to make this movie.
Movie consist of over 65,000 hand done oil paintings that is laid end to end would cover the island of Manhattan. It also must be seen on a BIG screen to fully appreciate the work.. BTW Starry Night is not displayed at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam but it is displayed unceremoniously at MOMA in NYC without much of a crowd surprisingly - unlike the Mona Lisa with people in front of it 10 people deep.
