Review of Love Is Strange (2014) by Pam M — 06 Nov 2015
Warmly gentle and moving character study of an elderly gay cowple, struggling financially and ultimately separated because their marriage causes one partner to get fired from his job. So sad that at the end of their long relationship, they have to be separated, because our society still has trouble accepting homosexuality.
The melancholy of one partner out living the other at the end is offset by the adolescent couple, skateboarding down the street together. A lovely film.
