Review of Love Is Strange (2014) by Tom H — 19 Oct 2015
A movie written by the normal madness and unforgiving order of everyday life. Unpremeditated cruelty descends on a couple past their prime, grabs them and doesn't let them go. Exceptional performances by Alfredo Molina and John Lithgow who manage to capture the viewer until the very end.
Brutally honest study of what happens when good intentions become burdensome. Bottom line: Little men's tragedy.
