Review of Love & Other Drugs (2010) by Dave B — 29 Oct 2011
This movie is funny and romantic, but I'm not sure you could accurately call it a romantic comedy. It's a story about having the guts to accept the good in yourself when cynicism is a cop out, and having the guts to follow through on it.
A tad heavy-handed on the critique of the health care industry, though not unwarranted, Hathaway and Gyllenhaal winningly portray two anti-heroes falling in real love with each other. Also, not for nothing, lots of nudity.
