This film feels long as its opens up like a yet another Rom-com with a charming cast, but it progressively turns into a rather heavy, serious drama. Although this film develops its characters in an overly shallow manner, the story does bring out the charm of the leads as well as their chemistry, and it makes Love & Other Drugs a sophisticated hybrid of romantic comedy & romantic drama.
