You think you know the Beach Boys, you don't. There's much more than this movie shows but this movie shows what it does amazingly. both Paul Dano and John Cusack play this enigmatic genius with skill.
Paul Giamatti delivers his usual strong performance as a very unlikeable character. If you don't know the Beach Boys story, the movie baby a little difficult to understand but it's still a great piece of cinematic work.
Kudos to all involved.
