Knowing literally nothing about the Beach boys and Wilson himself made this a really interesting film. The film is about Brian Wilsons life and is played in the 60's by Dano and the 80's by Cussack.
It works well and the best performance bar none was Banks as Wilsons girlfriend in the 80's and future wife. The interesting bit of his life where it was controlled by his doctor was excellent and overall this is worth a watch.
