Review of Lost River (2015) by Kyle G — 30 Jul 2015
Surreal movie in all ways! Psyco! Gory! This is pure drama/thriller! *one of my fave themes* Sorry if I give much away in this brief summary but this is how it goes (story): a mother with two kids will go to this "weird gory job" just to get back her house (since it has a very long debt).
Her older son will do also anything to get his house back (his job is not an actual job but for him it's a way to save his home/family). But things get complicated when "Bully" shows off [Matt Smith's role is scary as hell! Bloody brilliant!].
So now the older son (and his friend who is a girl) must unite somehow to break the city's spell and survive "Bully"...how this will end? Check the movie yourself coz I can't say more.
...I just love how it is filmed somehow (Ryan as director does a really great job). The script has flaws but I forgive them. Enjoy. - July 23, 2015 review. *it's a must watch*.
