Review of Lost in Translation (2003) by Henry F — 19 May 2014
Two people struggling to find identity unite in Tokyo and form a complex relationship. The forming of this relationship between the two brilliantly acted characters is handled perfectly, and observing a culture so alien to your own is a really interesting thing to watch, especially in the way it's portrayed throughout.
What was achieved with small budget is Pretty impressive, everything in the film looks great, helped a lot by the photography direction.
This is a very funny, at times sad character/culture study that's really nicely done in every way possible.
