Review of Lost in La Mancha (2002) by David S — 02 Nov 2007
A great documentary and brilliant examination of a film-maker at work. Am a big fan of Gilliam and here you see him in all his manic grandeur. The clips of the scenes that were actually shot for the film suggest that this could have been great which makes it all the more painful to watch.
Watch this after you've read Battle for Brazil and Losing the Light and you might end up thinking that Gilliam is the most unlucky filmmaker in the world!
