Review of Lorenzo's Oil (1992) by Samuel O — 07 Oct 2007
Susan Sarandon & Nick Nolte put in a brilliant performance in this movie. The story gives examples of parenting, charity, comunication and blessing's in the long run. Micheala. 'Susan Sarandon' is seen as an over obsessively careing Mother to her sick child Lorenzo but when Lorenzo's condition becomes too overwhelming for anyone to stay tough.
Micheala proves wrong with her persistance and faith in doing everything she can to help her son enjoy his last few expected years ahead of him. Because of the support and love of Lorenzo's parents and their ability to endure we begin to see changes for the best.
This true story is proof that life works in mysteriouse ways and that we don't always know the outcome until we have given it our absolute best shot.
