Review of Lorenzo's Oil (1992) by Gustavo M — 13 Aug 2009
A father's search for a cure become an obsession, and we are right there with him, in a film that is richly detailed with the turmoil this family goes through. George Miller expels a lot of medical information and makes it really palatable in a film.
We even learn a little. This is a film about using your intellect and challenging yourself as far as you can go. This is an intelligent, dramatic, and incredibly powerful film.
