Review of Lord of the Flies (1991) by Yuval P — 09 Mar 2008

This is a pretty decent adaptation from the great book. I read the book a hell of a long while ago and saw the previous movie adaptation at that time. If my memory serves me correctly the first adaptation is much more faithfull to the novel, this new one is missing out on a lot of meaningfull moments like Simon's conversation with the pig's head, "the lord of the flies" and other shocking parts.

Nonetheless this is very entertaining. I was hoping it to be a little darker and more violent but its still not bad.
