Keep in mind the effects aren't great in this one just becuase it was some of the first CG ever used. Get past that--the movie itself is amazing. The characters are so dark, the overall mood is eerie, and the storyline is amazing.
I always show this to people but they usually don't get it (mostly girls because girls tend to have terrible taste in all things artistic). Only watch it if you're intelligent.
