Review of Looking for Richard (1996) by Emily L — 22 Jan 2009
I found this movie made Richard III, arguably one of Shakespeare's most complicated plays and one of his longest, very accessible to people who normally wouldn't be interested in Shakespeare at all.
To cut down 80 hours of footage into this 109 minutes must have been very challenging, but Pacino was so devoted to the material, it's hard not to like this movie.
