Released during a year when Shakespeare movies were all the rage, this remains one of the finest. It is filled with some interesting anecdotes and delves deep into how contemporary audiences feel about Shakespeare while re-enacting scenes from Richard III, Al Pacino excellent as the hunchbacked villain.
