Loved it. I don't think you have to be a hard core manchester united fan to enjoy it though, I think this is a film for almost anyone to enjoy. However, as much as I laughed almost all the way through this film does contain quite a bit of dark material.
But as its under the craft of ken loach the portrayal of working class manchester is done quite sensitively. Steve evets (who plays little eric) does a fantastic performance and is more key to this film than the great man himself.
Which reminds me, look out for a possible contender for a scene of the year as we are shown a catalogue of cantona's greatest man utd moments - especially THE PASS!!
