Review of Long Shot (2019) by Afm185 — 21 Jun 2020

I thought it would be better. It didn’t really make me laugh, and when it did it felt kinda cheap, but the thing that bothered me the most was all of it felt so fake. There wasn’t a single scene between Fred and Charlotte where I was like oh yeah they should definitely be together they’re so cute, and that’s literally like 80% of the movie is just them together.

Also, there are really cheap reference “jokes”. They literally just mention things that happen in other stuff and one dude even says “Wakanda Forever” out of nowhere which is incredibly lame. I didn’t particularly dislike any characters except the one dude who’s just unlikeable, but I didn’t really care about any of them either.

Gotta say, the idea is interesting enough. Kinda just a meh movie overall.
