Irresistible chemistry.
Seth Rogen and Charlize Theron exhibit chemistry that’s difficult to deny. Casting them as romantic leads in Long Shot was an unexpected choice. The confused response to their unlikely pairing is mirrored in the plot, which makes for a genuine, hilarious, and freshly entertaining story of forbidden love — even though the movie itself can feel contrived and idealistic at times.
