Review of Lonesome Jim (2005) by Alex R — 06 Jul 2007
A sweet, but not sappy, dry comedy about a failed young writer suffering from chronic despair, who as a last option moves back home with his parents. There he meets an eternally optimistic nurse and her young son.
Granted the "going home" concept has been done a million types before, but the story is charming and the characters feel real enough.
