The poster is misleading, this film is not whimsical in any way. Instead, this movie was slow and depressing, though admittedly hillarious at parts. There were some awkward camera shots and scene edits, as well as poor acting from Liv Tyler.
Casey Affleck as Jim was good, but his character was just so unengaging that the film quickly became dull. Not as profound as it wanted to be. As a whole, this was an uneven movie that left me saying, "So what?".
