Top shelf action film largely due to the casting of heavyweight Carradine opposite Norris. After a series of solid actioners, this was the film that would usher in a string of elite Chuck Norris films that would be the best of the genre in the 80s.
A nice touch is having Norris reject fancy beer like Michelob for the Texas favourite Pearl.
