Review of London to Brighton (2006) by James A — 19 Nov 2007
As far as british director debuts go, this is right up there. its convincing, consistent and quite shocking in places. But Im not sure what this film is trying to say - as in, Im taken through this utterly grim climate, and im somehow not sure.
.. why - and the twist was kinda predictable from VERY early on. All things said, decent. Decent, not special. A few overexcited critics knocking about the place, for sure.
