Gritty, grimy, gloomy, and probably some other words beginning with G which describe films like this that the UK does so well, full of wannabe gangsters in tracksuits screaming "You facking cant" at each other - all the performances are really good, especially Georgia Groome, but you will feel like having a shower after watching it.
