I found the story to be fairly gripping, although the relationship between Farrell and Knightly's characters could have been explored more, as I left thinking the relationship was slightly irrelevant in comparison to the far more prominent gangster storyline.
Overall the performances in this film are good and you certainly won't be left bored watching this classic Brit Flick!
