Review of London Boulevard (2010) by Ollie W — 23 Mar 2011
Will Monahan's first foray into direction is a fairly dull retreading of familiar themes with Farrell and Knightley being good and Winstone, Friel and Thewlis being excellent.
Hardly a stitch on the The Departed which in turn, wasn't even remotely close to the genius of its source material. Monahan is massively overrated and choosing to rip-off Layer Cake in London was a bad call.
