More good work that has been adding to recent good performances from Colin Farrell, "The Last Bodyguard" uses a recurrent structure of thrillers, a former criminal in search of redemption, fighting the shadows of his past.
What is surprising here is the successful blend of genres that uses action, drama, suspense, comedy and even romance to shape a good story, holding the viewer.
Also watch the excellent performances from Ray Winstone, Ben Chaplin.
And David Thewlis, supporting that many times will steal the scene.
