Review of Lolita (1962) by Timothy K — 28 Sep 2008
Despite a couple rough cuts and toned down sexual implications.....I Loved this movie. Every single perofrmance was terrific, including one of my all time favorites Peter Sellers.
Despite the eyebrowed plot, the film had me with every scene and every crazy felt justification of the leading man James Mason. I felt pitty for his character, really hoping that he would find his true love with Lolita and live happily ever after. When he fell, I fell. I loved it.
Watch it, It's a classic!
