Seriously creepy but absolutely brilliant, even though it's uncomfortable to watch. Some really funny moments; particularly ones that really show Lolita's age. A lot of the film's interpretation is left up to the viewer.
People criticise it on the basis of being unlilke the book, but this film is supposed to be inspired by the book, not an exact translation. I am going to attempt to read the book now.
