With what Kubrick had to work with, this is a good film. However, censorship ruined it. Kubrick apparently regretted choosing to make this film after he realized just how much he had to take out of the story.
I couldn't make sense of what was going on sometimes, so I looked it up. Peter Sellers was hilarious as usual. A five for Kubrick, a one for censorship. Therefore, three stars.
