A weird and tasty meal for the mind, Stanley Kubrick's "Lolita" does not have the vision of his masterpieces, but is still a splendid creation that perfectly balances drama, satire and humour.
The actors are fantastic, as you would expect with stellar names such as James Mason, Peter Sellers and Shelley Winters. The casting of Sue Lyon as the titular character is spot on.
