Review of Lolita (1962) by Vinnie G — 18 Dec 2012
It's too murky and overly oppressive, much like Humbert Humbert, I suppose. This, of course, is the whole point that Kubrick was applying to the film, but nonetheless, I don't like the way it makes me feel.
Plus, I've always found Peter Sellers' humour quite tiresome.
