Review of Logan (2017) by Abdulmalik A — 22 Aug 2017

Overall, the gritty, post apocalyptic, western tone works for the movie.. But I did find myself constantly asking, "did it really have to be SO violent?" It's ok to show this character in a more mature light, especially seeing as how the movie is meant to be a send-off, but some of the scenes are so jarringly brutal that it takes away from the film as a whole.
