++ Different from your typical superhero comic-book film, not quite following the typical formula.
+ Feels more 'real' and emotionally effective.
+ Doesn't treat it's audience like numbskulls, doesn't have hand-holdy exposition.
+ Nice moments of cinematography.
-- Excessively gory. Strangely, it seems more gory at the start and gets progressively more tasteful. But still quite horrible.
