Review of Little Women (1933) by Travis H — 05 Sep 2004
At times it teeters on over-sentimentality, but for the most part, it's warm and hearty. I believe it must be hard to make a bad adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's novel, and this is certainly no exception. Hepburn carries the film but the rest of the sisters do a fine job, too. It's styled perfectly and a treat for any fan of the book.
