Matt Dillon and Tatum Oneal star in this coming of age camp movie. The acting is actually pretty good. The relationship between dillon and tatum is unexpectedly poignant in a sweet teenage way and offsets the campiness of some of the other scenes.
Matt Dillon shows talent in his portrayal of a sensitive teen trying to be cool. Some viewers may find the treatment of sex refreshingly tender in an old school sort of way given the hyper sexual conventions of most of today's teen flicks.
