Review of Little Caesar (1931) by Andy C — 17 Apr 2009
The outstanding acting by Edward Robinson and historical significance more than make up for any "datedness" of this film. This is the prototypical gangster film; depicting the rise and fall of evil and the police triumph over the mob.
This is also better than The Public Enemy which is also good but considered suprior to this for absolutly no reason.
