Review of Lion (2015) by Frank C — 13 Feb 2017

Amazing and true story. I especially loved the first part where young Saroo becomes lost and has to use his wits to survive. This young actor did an amazing job. Many heart tugging scenes throughout which reminds you of the important role of good samaritans and adoptive parents everywhere.

There was a longish part in the middle which felt a little too angst ridden and drawn out. But ultimately great resolution and symmetry to the story - as well as a peek at the real family members.
