Review of Lincoln (2012) by Charlie I — 16 Jul 2013
It was a lot more dark than I expected it to be. Not to say it was a dark picture in the first place, but it isn't as gooey, light hearted as War Horse. The ending was handled well enough. I think we all want to see Wilkes-Booth blow away Lincoln's head but, broadcasting it seems more fitting here.
Otherwise, kudos again to Day-Lewis for an incredible performance.
