Review of Limelight (1952) by Chris R — 13 Jan 2014
Has everything Chaplin is best known for, plus a side to him that he had avoided until this late stage of his career. It's clear that he made this film exactly how he wanted it to be; drenched in his own philosophy and both on-screen and off screen personality.
When it's done you are smacked back in your chair by the power of it.
