Review of Lights Out (2016) by Crazyoli — 14 Nov 2020
Good movie. The depression taking form as a monster is not exactly subtle and a bit one-dimensional but I still found the movie entertaining. Some jump-scares were a bit too predictable others were just annoying like cutting to a box that's been slammed on the desk.
On other occasions the movie managed to create suspense and keep me hooked for a long time. Towards the end the tension dropped off a little for me but it is still a good movie. Has similarities with the Babadook though I liked this one better.
Also, the movie is not very long.
