Review of Lifeboat (1944) by Aj V — 19 Feb 2011
I was less impressed with this Hitchcock movie than I thought I would be. The premise is interesting: an Allied merchant marine ship is destroyed in the Atlantic as is the German sub that attacked it. The American and British survivors make it to a lifeboat--as does the German sub commander.
Awkward! It is only 96 minutes, so it has brevity going for it. But not one of Hitchcock's best.
