A visual extravaganza. The story is just special enough to overcome the length of the film, keeping it from feeling to drawn out. Plodding at times, the film maker seems to pound home some serious subject matter early & some weird twists make the ride a little bumpy at times.
Despite its flaws, a great movie overall...
