The Life of Pi proves once again how diverse a filmmaker Ang Lee is but it also highlights his way of storytelling which offers so many different angles! It is not just the new technology used in the film, nor is it just the stunning scenes and sounds that make up this wonderful and beautiful movie, there is also and foremost the element of story telling! A tale of existence, survival and mostly about love.

The story is told in a three dimensional mode, so there is always an undertone, and for that matter, an undertone to the undertone to the story you are watching unfold, ironically it is also the story itself.

Pi's story is what you make of it, heck, your life is what you make of it, this movie includes you, the viewer! I still have the film's soothing music in my ears, it's beautiful and I still see the spectacular panoramic scenes in front of me, I enjoyed it all! At the end of the movie I realised that life goes on no matter what, whether in this life or the next but continue it does, watch this movie and see what you get out of it!
