Review of Life Is Beautiful (1997) by Jack N — 03 Oct 2010
This is one of the most beautiful and touching films ever made. It takes true talent to combine both great comedy and terrible tragedy.
One of the saddest, moving, masterpiece films I have ever seen.
I didn't realize until after seeing this film just how much Hollywood does the "happy ending" unlike forenge films that would rather touch your heart instead of putting in a happy ending and ruining the over all message of the horrors of the holocaust: there were no "true" happy endings.
However I found the first "half" to be uninteresting and kinda boring.
After that I loved it!
